We specialise in using a variable pressure sand jetting system that has been used nationwide for property restoration, including gaining approval for and subsequently working on many Listed Buildings. The system, in our trained hands, causes minimal damage to an underlying surface and is flexible enough to tackle most property restoration cleaning tasks.
Bricks can be sealed using Silane or even more slippery products to make it very difficult to reapply graffiti to a surface - paint doesn't stick, and what does can be wiped or pressure washed clean. Subsequent sealing of surfaces can minimise re-occurrence of graffiti, but care must be taken to avoid providing a primed 'background colour' for new graffiti.

The low pressure sand jet can clean bricks without injecting large quantities of water into the surface, and with minimal surface damage, at the same time, the 'damp' system also captures dirt and abrasive, preventing the health and safety risks associated with dry blasting.
A YEDL Electricity Substation in Hull, East Yorkshire cleaned in May 2004. While Abrasive cleaning is very effective, often graffiti is painted on top of paint, chemical stripping then becomes more appropriate. The customer is happy for the rest of the bricks to be left dusty - and we now often leave the bricks dusty after cleaning them because it makes fresh paint difficult to apply - reducing the risk of 'retaliative' graffiti
Chemical Cleaning
Sometimes, however, chemical stripping solutions offer a rapid and effective method for graffiti removal - they are particularly useful for removing graffiti from over painted surfaces or from surfaces such as galvanising that may be damaged by abrasives. This substation was near Lincoln.
Over painting - metalwork
The Moisture Curing Urethane paints that we typically use on steelwork jobs also have the advantage that although quick drying, they can have an accelerator added which reduces the timescales further. This meant that on a cold winters's day in Goole we were able to over paint both sides of this footbridge in Goole, East Yorkshire - without getting paint on any of the pedestrians!
Concrete
Obviously typical targets for graffiti are bridges .. this one was local to us. Obviously working on the roadside involves a lot more consideration for Health and Safety, and where necessary Traffic management is used.
Over painting - Concrete
Concrete Structures can also be over painted - this is a fairly inaccessible bridge in the middle of Bridlington!
Sealing
Where deemed necessary, Anti Graffiti sealers can also be applied post cleaning - this is Mexborough.
